The Writing Life - Volunteer Studio Director
A program supported by the Arts Alliance of Yamhill County.
This television series, hosted by author Steve Long, features interviews with local authors, discussing the craft of writing, publishing, their creative processes, and much more. It has become one of the most successful local television programs in McMinnville, with over 100 episodes to date.
The show is currently seeking a new volunteer studio director. No prior television experience is required—just a desire to learn.
The studio director will be responsible for controlling the visual presentation, including camera angles and graphics. All necessary training will be provided by McMinnville Community Media, a partner organization of AAYC. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in digital media technology and to be part of a prominent local show.
