MDM Sculpture Project - Call to Artists
Call to Artists: Outdoor Sculpture Commission
Headwater Investment Consulting, in collaboration with the McMinnville Downtown Association Committee for Public Art (MDACPA), invites artists to submit proposals for a commissioned outdoor sculpture to be installed at the entrance of Headwater’s professional office.
This piece should explore themes of water and nature, conveying a sense of movement, tranquility, and connection to the natural environment.
Inspired by the founders’ passion for river guiding on the iconic rivers of the Pacific Northwest and Southwest, the project welcomes both abstract and representational interpretations that resonate with place and community.
The total commission budget is $8,000, inclusive of all costs related to creation, transport, and installation. Submissions are open to emerging and established artists working in durable, outdoor-ready media.
