Our September First Tuesday meeting will be this Tuesday, September 8 at the Linfield University Miller Art Gallery where we will see “Easy Does It” an exhibit by artist Edie Overturf. Overturf has received significant recognition for her work and will include examples of prints, drawings, books and other mixed and graphic media.
The gallery is on the Linfield campus, accessible from Hwy 99W behind the Albertson’s complex. Take the Keck Drive exit (at Albertson’s) and follow the road around to Library Court. Park on Library Court or the nearby parking area a little further up the road. The gallery is on the left.
Get your preferred beverage at the Starbuck’s in the Albertson’s complex or at the Starbucks at the Linfield Bookstore building which is on Founders Way, a little bit to the north.
After we get our coffee, we’ll get the gallery tour started at 10:30a. We will have an opportunity to continue our First Tuesday meeting in the gallery where we will go over details of the Life Drawing sessions to start on September 12.
