Arts Alliance of Yamhill County invests in programs beyond our own organization because a healthy arts ecosystem depends on collaboration, shared resources, and community wide access to creative opportunities. We focus our support on initiatives that uplift local artists, expand arts access, foster healing and connection, and strengthen the cultural and economic vitality of Yamhill County.
Each program we support reflects a clear purpose and measurable impact. Through funding, partnerships, and advocacy, AAYC helps ensure that artists are visible, creative voices are valued, and arts experiences reach people of all ages and backgrounds. Below you will find the programs we support, why we invest in them, and how that support translates into real outcomes for our community.

AAYC sponsors the Locals Block to elevate regional filmmakers and ensure local creative voices are represented on a professional festival stage. By funding this program, we help remove barriers to entry, increase visibility for emerging and established filmmakers, and strengthen connections between artists and the broader community. The Locals Block contributes to cultural pride, creative career pathways, and a thriving local film economy.

| Our contribution to Henderson House supports A Window Between Worlds, an arts based program that uses creative expression as a tool for healing and resilience. AAYC invests in this program because the arts play a vital role in trauma informed care, emotional recovery, and personal empowerment. This support helps survivors access safe, guided creative outlets that foster healing, self expression, and long term wellbeing. |

AAYC provides an annual grant to the Lavender Festival Plein Aire to support artists working in outdoor, community facing environments. This program connects visual art with agritourism, bringing creativity into public spaces while supporting working artists. Our investment helps expand artist exposure, engage new audiences, and strengthen the intersection of art, land, and local business within Yamhill County.
